Jacqueline Slaby is a Freelance Cartographer and Graphic/Web Designer, who helps small businesses engage with their customers by authentically conveying themselves and their service through design, and also assists professors and doctoral candidates in higher education with packaging their research in an attractive and accessible delivery.

Jacqueline received their Bachelor of Arts in Growth & Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College in 2015 and later received a Master of City Planning of Sustainable Transportation & Infrastructure Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016.
While at Penn, Jacqueline was recognized for their design skills, resulting in contracts with University of Penn Press, Penn Law, and Upenn's undergraduate Urban Studies program to develop both maps and report templates.
Since graduation, Jacqueline has worked for local governments in Michigan, including as the Director of Community Services for the City of Marshall, and a Board Trustee for Battle Creek Public Schools, to develop user-friendly resource materials. Currently, Jacqueline is working in Rome, Italy, developing student programming for an American university and teaching secondary-level art history, ranging in topics from Byzantium to Impressionism, at Liceo Classico Luciano Manara.
When off the clock, Jacqueline enjoys laser engraving and cooking for family and friends. Jacqueline also gives back to their hometown, Battle Creek, MI, by working with local organizations around education, regional history, language access, equity, and voting registration.
